"Practice routine audit" self reflection
Practice Audit Log
You will each receive a small notebook from Chris. In it you will keep a daily log of the topics you practice as well as the amount of time you spend on each. On the page opposite the log you will keep notes of things that may need improvement on as well as brainstorm ideas for future practice sessions (In other words: what works and what doesn't and how you intend to improve things that are difficult).
The goal of this practice audit is to identify whether or not you are using your valuable practice time in the most efficient ways possible.
FORMAT:
Left page: subjects/topics/pieces etc. Right page: notes
practiced and duration of each
A few pointers:
*As always: quality over quantity!
*Try for a “mile deep and an inch (or a few inches) wide” over a “mile wide and an inch deep”!
Notebooks will be due to Chris on MONDAY APRIL 21st along with the following self-reflection.
